Fashion has the power to change shapes and lives through its personal connection to us all. It is this intrinsically human relationship between us and our fashion that makes it so political. It was this passion for expression of the purest form of art, that we live on a daily basis, and storytelling, that bought us young ambitious individuals together, as a group, to delicately curated what we label Elixir. Our work examines the many ways in which fashion is finely entangled with the socio-political issues around us. Our monthly project highlights different issues that otherwise only exist on the margins of the fashion world, in a hope to pioneer the evolution of a new approach-one that is all-inclusive- to the art of storytelling through silky fabrics and prints, the stories behind them and the ones we create around them. We believe that we must create and style and continue producing pure art until the distance between here and moon is a belt of fashion, the cracks in Earth are filled with stories of fashion.
